Clone Hard Drive with XXClone

This program clones the system volume to other hard drive that will be ready to boot without the need to restore. With disk imaging programs, you normally have to restore the image to a partition or volume in order to recover.  XXClone is simply have to boot the system from the hard drive where the clone was stored.

XXClone is best if for computers that have several physical hard disks. You can save the clone to an external device, such as a USB drive, but a lot of times Windows will not boot off an external device. The best is to clone the source volume to another volume on another hard disk.

Good backup habits are essential to everyone who uses a computer with important information.
For most home users, a Backup to an external hard disk is a good solution, this freeware program Idlebackup can do this when needed automatically.

Backup software automatic is hard to find as freeware, but Idlebackup can do this.Idlebackup can make a backup to hard-disk, USB drive or network (also compressed to a Zip file).
Easy restore for data recovery, browse and select one or more file(s) and press restore (Mirror mode). Feature of this software is that it checks if the computer is idle for more than 1 min before starting the back up process.

    Available backup modes in Idlebackup

    Mirror backup:
New or changed files are copied on a one to one base (mirrored). The next time a backup is
started there are often not so many file to copy, therefore this works very fast.
Very well suited to run automatically when the computer is not used (idle).
Disadvantage : Only the latest verions of files are available in the backup set.

    Full backup zipped:
Everything is packed in a single compressed zip archive.
New files are added, changed files are updated
Disadvantage : Only the latest verions of files are available in the backup set.
Less suited to run automatically when the computer is used. (not idle)

    Sequential backup zipped:
Every time when started, all files are stored in in a time-stamped zip backup.
Each backup contains therefore all the files present at a certain point in time.
In this way old versions of files can be traced and restored,
Disadvantage : Consumes quit a lot of space, each time everything is copied.
Less suited to run automatically when the computer is used. (not idle)

This Freeware program has no restrictions and does not contain any Spyware, Adware or Viruses.

New features in V1.16 (for details see Version History):
    - 5 backup settings can be memorized and recalled.
