Nokia Yahoo Alliance – Nokia to use Yahoo Mail , Nokia OVI to power Yahoo Maps

Nokia and Yahoo AllianceNokia and Yahoo AllianceNokia and Yahoo shook hands to sign a alliance deal which will help the companies to give pace to their growth and fight the ever growing competition.As the first step , Nokia will use Yahoo’s mail and Messenger service in place of Ovi Mail and Yahoo will use Nokia OVI to power Yahoo Maps.

    As part of the alliance:

  • Nokia will be the exclusive, global provider of Yahoo!’s maps and navigation services, integrating Ovi Maps across Yahoo! properties, branded as “powered by Ovi.”
  • Yahoo! will become the exclusive, global provider of Nokia’s Ovi Mail and Ovi Chat services branded as “Ovi Mail / Ovi Chat powered by Yahoo!”
  • Nokia and Yahoo! plan to work on ID federation between their services, beginning by making it easy for people to use their Ovi user IDs across select Yahoo! properties to easily access  the online content and services they need.

Upcoming E Series Mobiles From Nokia

Nokia has officially announced the E75. It will be available in March at the unsubsidized price of 23,000 Rs roughly ($483 USD), with pre-orders beginning today.we hope these phones will be in market by next month.

Nokia has yet to release the full specs, but the previously leaked (and most likely accurate) specs are as followed-

Nokia N96 begins shipping

Nokia today announced the availability of the much anticipated Nokia N96, its flagship multimedia computer in the iconic Nokia Nseries range. It boasts live TV, 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, turn-by-turn voice navigation, 16GB of internal memory that can be increased to 24GB with an optional microSD card, superior sound and music, N-Gage gaming and a stunning 2.8″ display. First shipments of the Nokia N96 have started and it will be available with an estimated retail price of EUR 550 before taxes and subsidies.
