History Here application is location-based mobile application, aimed at bringing history to life in a series of locations around the United States. History Here application allows you to choose as few or as many categories of historic locations as you like to see. Select from “notable location,” “park,” “museum,” “monument,” “battlefield,” “historic building” or “roadside attraction” to customize the experience according to your interests.This application can be used as an interactive travel guide for all things history-related. Users can set their location either through entering the necessary details manually, or they can use phone’s GPS capabilities to set the location.
According to the app’s makers, information on a number of more than 7,000 locations nationwide has been included in History Here, and more should be added in the coming months.Users would also enjoy exclusive video, audio of famous speeches, narratives from key moments in history, pictures and maps, and more content for each location.
