Download Click Tracker-Track Click on Your Website

Heat Map Click Tracker is small but useful software for WebMasters. With the help of this software WebMasters can track where the mouse click done by visitors. After set up, the admin of a website can view how website users have used the site by activating click tracker.

You can watch results, that will be shown using blue dots on top of a semi-transparent overlay pulled over a page. Since the dots are semi-transparent, spots that have been clicked on more often, will appear slightly darker. Click on the overlay to make it invisible again and continue with the “recording”.

The button that reveals the heat map must be hidden from the users, either in an admin panel, under a password field or in a secure authenticated page.

Optimize your My SQL Databases As our regular visitors must have noticed , our site was facing server issues in the month of April which caused us big losses and also the site was down for nearly 5 days.Recently ,we migrated to a VPS provider Slicehost for better speeds and bandwidth.

This was my first experience with root access and linux server and I opted for a Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 install.A good friend of mine and Linux Guru Nilesh Govindarajan from iTech7 helped me a lot in the cause.Soon with the help of good guides from slicehost and the help of Nilesh, I was able to have my webistes up.

Tutorial: Install and run live Linux from USB Pen drive with UNetbootin – Mount Linux on a USB Drive

Linux Live USB UNetbootin is a handy tool that allows you to install and create Live USBs of various distributions of linux such as Ubuntu , Debian , Linux Mint , OpenSUSE , Arch Linux , Damn Small Linux , SliTaz , Puppy Linux , gNewSense , FreeBSD , NetBSD , xPUD , Frugalware Linux , FaunOS , Mandriva , CentOS , Elive , Dreamlinux , Slax , Zenwalk , MEPIS , Gentoo , Sabayon Linux , PCLinuxOS , Fedora and many others on a USB Drive.

It also allows you to install various versions of the same linux distribution.For example , you can install ubuntu Hardy as well as Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 via UNetbootin.

For the cause of the tutorial , I have used a 4 GB USB Drive , but most of the distributions will go on a 1 GB gear.But I still recommend you to use atleast 2GB USB Pen Drive. In this tutorial I have used Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 server edition and it worked fine showing that UNetbootin allows you to create and install Linux Server Editions Live USB too. (more…)
