Reliance Communication Launches Missed Call Alerts Service with New Beep

Reliance Communication launches Missed Call Alerts service with new beep, this is a value added service you have to pay RS.15 for a month you will receive sms while your mobile was not reachable, out of reach or switched off. You can get the record of missed calls by subscribing to Missed Call Alerts (MCA) service. You will receive different beep sound for missed calls.

Missed call alerts is a SMS based service which provides the details of the calls attempted on the customer MDN, when the recipient mobile was switched off/out of reach/not reachable.

  • You can view the calls you have missed.
  • You will receive an SMS for all the missed calls
  • The SMS includes details such as the call line identification and the time of the call.
  • Activation – You can activate this service by sending SMS to 51234.
    Deactivation – To deactivate this MCA service SMS to 51234.

    Sharp to Launch 3D Camera Enabled Mobile

    Sharp Corporation is soon going to launch 3D Camera Enabled Mobile, that can shoot 3D videos. This mobile will also have a portable gaming console. Earlier Sharp Corporation announced that it has developed a 3D camera module for mobile devices such as digital cameras and cell phones that is capable of capturing high definition 3D video images.

    This will allow users to take 3D photos and videos on their mobile devices and then watch them on 3D TVs. 3D images are composed of two views taken with two cameras that simultaneously capture separate images for the right and left eyes. Sharp Corporation will start shipping samples of their 3D enabled mobile devices in November. More details are still awaited.

    Comics are the best source of passing the time. With m-comics, one can read them any time, anywhere on mobile. Now publishers are launching Mobile-Comics in Hindi. Several service providers like Airtel, Vodafone, Tata Docomo, Idea and BSNL have developed m-comics platforms, some using Java-based applications which have to be first downloaded to the mobile before the comics can be viewed. Others are using Multi-Media Messaging and WAP subscriptions to deliver the comic strips.
    Compatible with all GPRS or WEP-enabled handsets, customers are charged Rs 10-25 per week for 10 or more for the comic strips, depending on the service provider. And, with the launch by private operators of 3G services in September, the quality of the content is bound to improve. Now enjoy Mobile comics in Hindi also.
