Soundsnap is a community driven online sound library. It features 100,000 sound effects and music loops from Hollywood sound designers and cutting edge music producers.
In order to download a sound you have to be a registered user, its Free to signup and you can get 5 sounds a month. You can search for sounds via the search bar at the top, browse by category or browse by tag. On the sound ‘teaser’ click on the upper right corner an choose between mp3, wav or aif.

To listen to a sound before downloading, you have to click on the orange/ grey player on the left. This won’t affect your download counter. 

You can also upload your original music/sound. Overall This is nice sound bank, small video maker, e-card maker and program maker can use it.
