I tried wikisend, uploaded a file: filmer.zip (w only a bunch of jpgs) and used a long-url-to-short-url-service, which in hand I posted in an ad. Now, this link sends me to the right download page (for filmer.zip), but the file the site wants me to dl is called p2023w95.zip. In it there is a single .exe, which I do not want to execute! Probably some kind of virus. Did not create any account, don’t remember if it was password-protected either.
Well well.

I think you should avoid executing that file,It will most probably be an virus.
I used the site a long ago and cannot say anything ,though this may also be the fault of the 3rd part short url service u usedFebruary 17th, 2009 at 10:21 pm -

i uploaded a file on wikisend. at the end of the upload however instead of being redirected to the page that gives the download URL and i.d etc. i was redirected to a blank page. no amount of refreshing took me to the said page. i haven’t received the download link at my email i.d either although i had given it.. the site does not seem to have any way of retreiving files either. wat do i do??
