Google Talk released for iPhone
The Google Talk team has released a new version of Google Talk specifically for iPhone and ipod touch. The new version of Gtalk is available only in the US
To access the Google Talk In your iPhone browser, just go to www.google.com/talk, sign in and start chatting. Google Talk runs entirely in the browser so there’s no need to download or install anything.
But iPhone Gtalk being not as powerful as PC Gtalk will change your status to unavailable when you navigate away from the browser i.e Safari. There are some other limitations too.
Other then that you can select from a quicklist of the people you contact most, search your contacts, and manage multiple conversations.
You can also have a SMS arrive at your inbox with the link to Google Talk for iphone.Just visit http://www.google.com/mobile/apple/talk/ and type in your mobile number there.
Enjoy! ![]()
