IE is a benchmark for any web development. You just can’t neglect that. I have seen in my site traffic dats, IE is still more popular than FF. But imo Opera is the best browser, gave all these features way before FF n IE did. Only drawback it is not open source

actually the stats are more favourable for firefox 
On my site out of every thousand visitors 600 are from firefox , about 250 from IE about 50 from opera and rest from other browsers
and yes I love the bookmarking features of opera .I usually use it only for testing purposes
