Change Registered Owner and Company in Windows

Hello Friends,
In this short tutorial I will tell you how to change the Registered to Name and Organization in Windows XP and Vista with the help of Registry
.This trick will be helpful to you if you entered wrong value during installation or just for fun ![]()
Follow these steps to perform the above thing.
- Click on the “Start Button”.
- And click “Run…” .
- Type in “regedit” and press enter.
- Navigate to the key mentioned below
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion
- Find the String value named ”RegisteredOwner” and double click it to edit it and change it to your required value.
- Then find the String value named ”RegisteredOrganization” and double click it to edit it and change it to your required value.
- You are now done
.Restart to see the effect.
