Yahoo to use Google’s “Adsense for search”

Today, Yahoo Inc. one of the leading internet companies has decided to use Google’s adsense for search services.This is a limited time test and will not apply to the whole world.It will remain concentrated only in the US and will work on Yahoo.com .This will also exclude Yahoo!’s extended network of affiliate or premium publisher partners. The test is expected to last till 2 weeks and will be limited to 3 % of yahoo’s search queries.

                                                                  All this is because of yahoo’s board of director strategies alternatives to increase its stock rate .

That the testing does not necessarily mean that Yahoo! will join the AdSense for Search program or that any further commercial relationship with Google will result and it would not comment on the nature or timing of any potential relationship.

                                                             I think that this was a strategy to reply to Microsoft and to hit hard them on their face.Microsoft had been continously showing interest in purchasing Yahoo Inc to which Yahoo always had denied.What do you think ?
